Location: Freelance position based in TBN’s Ft. Worth, TX, Studio Location

Reports to: Director of Program Graphics

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Motion Graphic Designer with a proved track record of delivering polished, high-quality motion assets. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable and skilled at creating motion graphic content in various animation programs. You will collaborate within a team to develop full-screen animations, LED wall designs, and engaging materials that effectively communicate our brand message.

We’re looking for someone who is not only great at producing multimedia content but is also collaborative and passionate about creating captivating designs that will stand out from the noise. You're also deadline-driven, extremely organized, and detail-obsessed. This is not a remote position, in-office presence required.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and design compelling 2D and 3D motion graphics for broadcast
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop,) to create high-quality designs and animations
  • Utilize 3D animation software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Unreal Engine to create compelling 3D animations and LED wall designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet the objectives
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in motion graphic design
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Basic Knowledge of Graphic Design
  • Strong knowledge of animation and video editing software
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software (Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine)
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts to team members and Producers.
  • Ability to think "on the fly"
  • 3-5 years of experience as a motion designer or other related field

Education:

  • B.A. degree in animation, film, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
