Job description

Description:

Optikos is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Assembler to join our exceptional optical systems manufacturing group. You will support Optikos' standard product builds and a wide range of design projects—from medical diagnostics to defense system testing and virtual reality applications, to name a few. Whatever you’re tasked with, be prepared to join a fast-paced team and continually challenge yourself to think outside the box, troubleshoot issues, and thoroughly understand your equipment, processes, and procedures.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble a wide variety of electrical, optical, and mechanical products.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians with prototype builds.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to read work instructions and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with bonding, gluing, and UV epoxy application for small parts.
  • Skilled in handling small components and working under a microscope.
  • Basic computer skills – Email, MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Proficiency at soldering, crimping, and point-to-point wiring is a plus, but not required.
