The Sales Account Manager will manage and grow key retail accounts across major U.S. retailers, including Walmart, Target, and other national accounts. This role is responsible for driving sales, supporting product development, and executing account strategies for outdoor furniture categories such as folding chairs, beach chairs, stadium seats, carts, and related products.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in the outdoor or seasonal product industry and understands consumer trends, retail cycles, and competitive dynamics within categories such as camping, patio, and outdoor living.
Key Responsibilities

  •  Manage day-to-day business with key retail accounts (Walmart, Target, and other assigned customers) 
  •  Drive sales growth through assortment planning, pricing strategy, and seasonal programs (spring/summer, tailgating, etc.) 
  •  Lead buyer communication, line reviews, and product presentations 
  •  Partner with product development and China/Vietnam teams on new product creation, costing, and sample timelines 
  •  Analyze sales, inventory, and forecast data to identify risks and opportunities 
  •  Monitor in-stock, replenishment, and supply chain performance to support strong sell-through 
  •  Coordinate item setup, content, and PDP optimization across retailer systems 
  •  Conduct comp shops and competitive analysis within outdoor categories 
  •  Work closely with marketing on product positioning, packaging, and online content 
  •  Support issue resolution related to quality, delivery, pricing, or customer claims 
  •  Prepare weekly business reports and performance updates for internal leadership 
Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field 
  •  3–7+ years of experience in retail account management (Walmart or major retailer preferred) 
  • Hands-on experience in outdoor, camping, patio, or seasonal product categories required
  •  Strong understanding of outdoor consumer behavior, seasonal trends, and retail cycles 
  •  Experience working with overseas factories or sourcing teams (China/Vietnam preferred) 
  •  Strong analytical skills with experience in Retail Link or similar retail data tools 
  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  •  Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment 
Preferred Qualifications

  •  Experience with folding chairs, outdoor furniture, or similar categories 
  •  Experience with Walmart Supplier One, Scintilla, or Target systems 
  •  Background in product development, costing, or sourcing
