As Manager Operations IoT for the US, you'll be responsible for our innovative IoT service in the US, service existing clients, and lay the groundwork for expanding these business engagements. This role reports to the VP of Operations in the US. Your role will focus on understanding broader client solution requirements, aligning resources to create them, and then roll out the solution operationally.
Your area of responsibility:
  • You will manage Roambee's device operation, fulfillment, and reverse logistics process operations.
  • Manage the operations side of customer engagements.
    • Shipping devices based on customer orders
    • Managing operations related customer service requests through the Jira Service Desk support platform
  • Support, configure, test, and operate our services and related integration points.
  • Develop strong relationships with Roambee's engineering, customer success, and sales teams to create the operational framework that powers Roambee's revenue.
  • Develop strong relationship with the primary interfaces at our strategic partners
    • Become the subject matter expert for all technical and operational topics
    • Liaise regularly to resolve open issues
  • Establish KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) and success metrics for your function.
  • Design processes and systems to provide scale, automation, and efficiency to our operations.
  • Manage vendor schedule and deliverables
  • Write SOPs
  • Work on our planning process and help shape the strategies and tactics in operations and then execute them.
  • Bring your ideas into a company's operations mix and objectively evaluate their efficacy and success.
What we're looking for:
  • Technical background in computer science, engineering, operations research, or other related disciplines with 3-10 years of experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with operations of IoT products or services is a big plus.
  • Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
  • A leader and proactive 'Can Do' person is persuasive and has a proven track record driving successful projects.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, with a solid propensity to succeed.
  • Experience process design and implementation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Interest or experience in supply chain management or transportation and logistics a big plus!
The position begins as soon as we find the right candidate. Compensation is negotiable and depends on experience and skill level. Our compensation consists of salary, performance bonus, and stock options.
