Tencent Cloud solutions, originating from our deep expertise in gaming, social, and media services, have taken on a new mandate: serving industries across the board with end-to-end, AI-native cloud capabilities. Our AI portfolio spans MaaS (Model-as-a-Service), Agent frameworks, Machine Learning, and AI Infrastructure - alongside IaaS, Big Data, EdgeOne, MPaaS, CPaaS, and Private Cloud. We bring this platform to enterprises of all sizes, meeting them where they are with a secure, easy-to-use, and cost-effective suite of cloud services. Responsibilities

  • Act as Human Resources Business Partner to the Tencent Cloud business lines across Americas, including United States and Brazil, providing localized support and ensuring alignment with global and regional HR strategies.
  • Being a trusted advisor to provide insights on business decisions from a human capital perspective which includes but not limited to talent management , performance m anagement, workforce strategy, employee engagement & retention.
  • Collaborate closely with the business leaders on people matters which may have short-, medium- or long-term effects on the business.
  • Identify opportunities for resource sharing and ensuring compliance in workforce decisions
  • Driving and helping to connect the dots between regional/local decisions in contrast with HQ decisions, to mediate and align expectations across all parties
  • Lead and manage cross-functional HR projects and collaborate with other BPs to promote strategic alignment and project execution.

  • Ability to operate in ambiguous and grey-zone scopes - defining and creating value where frameworks don't yet exist.
  • Requires self-direction and initiative to build new relationships, identify gaps, and drive change.
  • Must be comfortable navigating cross-cultural stakeholder management and regional diversity.
Who We Look For

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, either as consultant, Human Resources Business Partner, HR function specialist, or recruitment is welcome.
  • Strong regional exposure across Americas, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills and business acumen
  • Someone who is positive, possess a can-do attitude and can navigate in highly matrixed and ambiguous environments
  • Strong people skillsets and able to build relationships across all levels of staff, be culturally sensitive and adaptable to different people styles
  • Strong learning agility, with good ability to bounce back and quickly learn from past experiences, improve, and adapt
  • Multi-lingual abilities (English/Chinese/Portugues) will be considered a competitive edge as it will be required to deal with employees locally
  • Be willing to be based in Shenzhen for the first 3-6 months of employment to get on board and integrate into the team.

Location State(s)

US-California-Palo AltoThe expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $84,200.00 to $158,400.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee's tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level.
