The IT Operations Manager plays a hands-on role in supporting and managing the technology platforms that power daily food service operations. This individual partners closely with operations teams, senior leadership, client stakeholders, and vendors to ensure core systems, including POS, mobile ordering, and other digital platforms, run smoothly, reliably, and efficiently.Serving as the primary point of contact for food service technology, this role focuses on system performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. The IT Operations Manager works directly with onsite teams to troubleshoot challenges, support system updates, and ensure end users have the tools and training they need to operate effectively.In addition to day-to-day support, this role helps coordinate technology implementations, manage vendor relationships, and maintain alignment between operational needs and enterprise systems. The focus is on practical execution, driving adoption, and keeping technology solutions functioning seamlessly to support both the client and the business.

The ideal candidate has experience working with food industry-related technology platforms, along with a strong understanding of POS systems, mobile ordering solutions, and other hospitality-focused tools. They're comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, solving problems in real time, and acting as a dependable partner to teams who rely on technology to deliver a strong guest experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with Aramark enterprise technology teams, client stakeholders, and operations leaders to align digital initiatives with business objectives.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and recommend technology enhancements and innovation opportunities based on operational needs, enterprise capabilities, and data-driven insights.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Culinary, Marketing, Nutrition, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to support technology initiatives.
  • Own the lifecycle of key digital platforms and technology projects, including planning, implementation, change management, stabilization, and ongoing optimization.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal support teams to resolve issues, manage escalations, and ensure successful delivery of technology services.
  • Develop and maintain technology governance processes, documentation, standards, and operational playbooks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimization, automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
  • Support technology budget planning, forecasting, and business case development for new initiatives and enhancements.
  • Maintain oversight of IT asset management processes, vendor relationships, and contract compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, data security requirements, and client-specific policies.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT, digital operations, product management, or technology project leadership.
  • Strong project and program management skills with experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience working with vendors, managing technology implementations, and supporting operational systems.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions within a complex operating environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or relevant graduate degree.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, workplace dining, or food service technology environments.
  • Familiarity with POS platforms (Micros, Nextep, Square) and mobile ordering ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology rollouts and cross-functional change management initiatives.
  • Understanding of IT security principles, data governance, and compliance requirements.
