Responsibilities

Job Function – Responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation.

Operations Oversight

  • Work with the on-site manager to prepare maintenance and cleaning schedules; assign, perform, and supervise the work product.
  • Oversee daily functions of the maintenance staff employees to ensure quality and timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
  • Conduct daily inspects on cleaning, maintenance and repair projects to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Perform other maintenance related duties: Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance and repair, including power washing, slurring, restriping, sweeping and commercial painting.

Qualifications

  • Prior progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred.
  • Qualified candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • License Requirement: Per DOT Regulations, you will be required to have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License depending on the location's hiring needs, with Passenger Endorsement if you will be responsible for operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 passengers or more.
  • DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
  • Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.
  • Prior experience ensuring employer is compliant with federal (EPA Clean Water Act of 1977) and local laws and regulations, particularly in the area of water pollution preferred.
  • Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $95,000-$100,000 per year
