Job Description:
The Operations Project Manager is responsible for managing new business projects across multiple Aerojet Rocketdyne sites. Success in this role requires strong performance to cost and schedule targets through collaboration across multiple functions. This position is integral to the execution of manufacturing strategies and the identification of continuous improvement opportunities.

Essential Functions:
Provide oversight of new proposed projects across functions and sites.
Create and manage project schedules and budgets.
Coordinate, review, and edit proposal inputs from various stakeholders.
Report business performance to senior leadership, including action plans to improve execution and updates on strategic initiatives.
Identify capital investment needs to support business requirements, including quality process capacity, capabilities, and technologies.
Support manufacturing strategy execution across the segment.
Travel up to 10% within the continental U.S. may be required.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Advanced business knowledge, general management skills, and leadership capability to lead business-area or functional teams.
Broad experience across multiple related professional disciplines, combining theory, practical experience, and organizational business practices.
Experience with earned value management or cost account management.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, facilities project management, and aerospace industry hardware.
Previous experience with EAR and ITAR regulations.
