IT Manager

Position Summary

Genesis Industrial and Technical Staffing is seeking an IT Manager to lead technology operations across our entire organization. We operate in over 40 states, with multiple office locations and a large, growing client base, and we rely on our technology to keep our people connected, our data secure, and our processes running smoothly. This role owns the full range of day to day IT needs, from staff laptops and system security to our broader technology stack and compliance requirements, including our CMMC Level 1 certification and GCC High environment supporting Department of Defense related contracts.

This is a hands on, high responsibility role for someone who is both technically strong and genuinely personable. We are a people first company, and we need an IT leader who enjoys working closely with staff across every office, who brings creative thinking to how we use technology (including AI) to work smarter, and who takes pride in building secure, efficient systems that support our team and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

●       Manage day to day IT operations and support for staff across all Genesis office locations and remote team members nationwide.

●       Administer and maintain our technology stack, including Microsoft 365 and Office applications, our Bullhorn ATS/CRM platform, and the integrations that connect Bullhorn with our other systems.

●       Maintain and support our CMMC Level 1 certification and GCC High environment, ensuring ongoing compliance for Department of Defense related client work.

●       Set up, monitor, and maintain staff computers and laptops, ensuring every team member has a secure, reliable, and well functioning workstation.

●       Monitor systems and networks to keep the company environment secure, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities proactively.

●       Lead current and upcoming integration and upgrade projects, working to help our technology stack communicate more efficiently across platforms.

●       Bring creative ideas to the table for improving IT processes, protections, and workflows, including thoughtful use of AI tools at both the individual and system level.

●       Document IT processes and best practices, and help build out stronger protocols as the company continues to grow.

●       Partner with leadership on technology planning, budgeting, and vendor relationships.

●       Serve as a responsive, approachable point of contact for staff with IT questions or issues across the company.

Qualifications

●       Experience managing IT operations for a multi location, multi state organization; staffing or professional services industry experience is a plus.

●       Hands on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and general office technology support.

●       Experience with, or strong ability to quickly learn, CMMC compliance requirements and GCC High environments.

●       Familiarity with Bullhorn or similar ATS/CRM platforms, or comparable experience integrating business software systems.

●       Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices for protecting company data and systems.

●       A creative, solutions oriented approach to process improvement and technology adoption, including AI enabled tools.

●       Excellent communication skills and a genuinely people oriented, collaborative style.

●       Ability to manage competing priorities across a wide range of IT needs, from routine support to strategic projects.
