Electroninks is expanding its global commercial presence and is seeking an experienced APAC Sales Director to lead and scale revenue growth across the Asia-Pacific region. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving regional revenue performance, establishing high-impact customer and distributor relationships, and aligning regional execution with a global commercial strategy.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial leadership, extensive industry knowledge, and cross-cultural management capabilities to accelerate sustainable growth across key APAC markets, including semiconductor, advanced packaging, printed electronics, and electronics manufacturing sectors. The role requires a decisive leader capable of establishing clear goals, timelines, personnel accountability and frameworks to ensure measurable revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver regional revenue growth across APAC markets in alignment with global targets.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies, account penetration plans, and multi-year growth roadmaps.
  • Drive expansion through direct sales teams and regional distributor/channel partnerships.
  • Ensure forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and disciplined sales execution.
  • Lead, coach, and, when necessary, restructure APAC sales teams to ensure high-performance execution and revenue accountability.
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks.
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on revenue growth, customer success, and strategic account development.
  • Support talent development, hiring, and succession planning across the region.
  • Build executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners across APAC.
  • Support complex, high-value negotiations and long-term commercial agreements.
  • Guide regional teams in managing full sales cycles from opportunity development to contract closure and account expansion.
  • Align commercial activities with customer qualification and production ramp timelines.
  • Develop and oversee regional distributor strategies to maximize market coverage and revenue acceleration.
  • Conduct regular joint business reviews, pipeline assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure distributors are properly trained and aligned with product positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Head of Sales, Product Management, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Translate regional customer requirements into actionable commercial and technical priorities.
  • Support new product launches and regional go-to-market execution.
  • Provide structured feedback to global leadership on regional opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor APAC market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Represent the company at regional industry events, trade shows, and executive forums.
  • Provide strategic insights to guide global product and commercial strategy.
  • Travel frequently across APAC markets to visit customers, partners, and regional offices.


Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial leadership experience with demonstrated ability to drive organizational transformation and enforce performance accountability.
  • Proven track record of delivering regional revenue growth in B2B technology or advanced materials industries.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and optimizing sales organizational structures to accelerate revenue growth.
  • Strong ability to set clear objectives, timelines, and measurable commercial milestones.
  • Experience in semiconductor packaging, electronics materials, PCB, advanced manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-country teams and distributor/channel partnerships.
  • Experience with CRM systems, forecasting methodologies, and performance analytics.
  • Ability to operate effectively in cross-cultural and matrixed global organizations.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within APAC.
Language Skills
  • Native-level proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Business-level proficiency in English (required).
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese (required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling electronic materials, semiconductor materials, or functional chemical materials in the Electronics Markets.
  • Prior experience managing APAC region across multiple countries (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Southeast Asia).
  • Familiarity with customer qualification processes, technical validation cycles, and ramp-to-production models.
  • Experience working closely with technical and product management teams in technology-driven organization.
