Sentara is hiring a Manager, Supply Chain in the Williamsburg area.
This is a Full-Time, Rotating shift opportunity with great benefits.
As the Manager, Supply Chain, you will assume responsibility and accountability for the operational success of a hospital Materials Management department. Responsible for the delivery of high quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectation. Achieve system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives. Develop a highly motivated team that work efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers. Provide on-site guidance and direction to assure supply chain goals and objectives are met.
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in material management required in lieu of degree plus 5 Years materials management experience required.
Required Qualifications
5 years of Materials Management experience is required
3 years of Supervisory experience is required
Also, the ideal candidate will have the have:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting with responsibility for supply chain and inventory management functions.
  • A strong understanding of inventory control, materials management, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience leading and developing a team of associates, including training, and day-to-day operational supervision.
