The Irrigation Installation Manager/Supervisor must be thoroughly familiar with and able to perform all aspects of commercial and residential irrigation installation to include: Sales Pipeline, Production and Staffing. The Irrigation Installation Manager/Supervisor is expected to build and maintain a team of up to 10 installation crew members that are fully scheduled 10+ months per year and profitably install smart irrigation systems that lead the industry in quality and efficiency. The Irrigation Installation Manager/Supervisor must keep ownership apprised of progress on all prospects and customers while managing schedules for Installation Crew Leaders and Installation Technicians. The Irrigation Installation Manager/Supervisor will smoothly communicate with the "Conserva Ecosystem" both externally (clients, competitors, subcontractors and suppliers) and internally (Local Sales, Admin and Service personnel as well as Conserva corporate operational resources and your peers from other Conserva network locations). The Irrigation Installation Manager/Supervisor works with Conserva management/ownership and the crew leaders to keep the installation crews fully staffed with a positive culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Delight our customers
  • Develops and implements plans to add accounts, introduce new services, grow market share and improve profitability for the installation business unit
  • Meets with prospective clients and generates take-offs, bids, and estimates
  • Schedules projects, hires employees, coordinates subcontractors, orders materials, assigns equipment, and schedules deliveries to the job site
  • Conducts weekly job site inspections and monitors crews' production rates, quality control, and safety performance
  • Communicates with clients and crew leaders to resolve any issues during installation projects
  • Ensures compliance with all regulations, reporting requirements, equal employment opportunity laws and company policies
  • Monitors changing market conditions, business opportunities, and competitors
  • Ensures and communicates that the installation business unit is kept on schedule and on budget
  • Trains technicians to install irrigation systems with industry-leading quality and efficiency
  • Ensures all workflows and processes are designed and executed correctly
  • Evaluates equipment utilization and recommends future purchases to ownership
  • Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Able to read and install irrigation plans
  • Reviews and approves all timesheets for installation crews prior to weekly payroll runs

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to make and keep promises
  • Minimum of five years of experience in commercial and/or residential irrigation service
  • Experience leading, organizing, and managing multiple people
  • Experience managing a B2C Sales Pipeline
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Passing score on Conserva competency assessment
  • Strong understanding of the hydraulics calculations relating to irrigation systems
  • Thought leader on irrigation technology, products and materials
  • IA certification preferred but not necessary (must be willing to obtain certification)
  • Able to effectively train installation technicians
  • Possess valid driver's license and must be insurable on company's insurance policy
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Proficient in or able to learn customer relationship management (CRM) scheduling software
  • Proficient in both oral and written communications
  • Language proficiency a plus (English / Spanish)
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Comfortable with multiple technology platforms (laptop, tablet, phone)
  • Must have mental and physical toughness required to work outside
  • Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner
  • Results-oriented; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Great attitude, mature sense of humor with a desire for growth

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Hours: 6:45 AM - 4:45 PM
  • Days: M-F (Off Sundays)
  • Occasional Saturdays due to excessive weather or production delays
  • Smoke-free vehicles, client property, and offices
  • Required to work outdoors in many primary job functions in seasonal weather conditions (inclement weather)
