This position is for Fall Semester of 2026
Academic Technologies is seeking a highly responsible, and motivated student to serve as a Computer Pod Student Consultant (SCONs). This position oversees daily operations within the computer classroom and computer pod.

The Computer Pod Student Consultant (SCONs) plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality technical support, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff. This role acts as the primary point of coordination within the pod and serves as a liaison between students, faculties, staffs and full-time Academic Technologies personnel.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong accountability, communication skills, and the ability to manage both technical responsibilities and team coordination.

Position Overview
The Computer Pod Student Consultant (SCONs) is responsible for overseeing pod operations, supporting staff, faculties, students and ensuring all technology and services within the pod function effectively. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, and customer service excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and customer service issues

Provide technical support and training for classroom and pod technology

Monitor pod operations to ensure coverage, efficiency, and quality of service

Coordinate and communicate with full-time staff regarding issues, updates, and ongoing needs

Perform troubleshooting of hardware, software, and classroom technology systems

Ensure timely response and resolution of support requests

Assist with testing, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing technology

Maintain organization, cleanliness, and professional standards within the pod

Support administrative and operational tasks as needed
