The Insights and Analytics Principal is a senior analytics leader responsible for driving business growth, shaping analytic solutions, and delivering strategic insights that create measurable impact for our biopharma clients. Leveraging deep industry knowledge and strong client relationships, this role combines commercial acumen, data-driven problem solving, and thought leadership to help clients address complex brand and market challenges. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, strengthening IQVIAโ€™s position as a trusted strategic partner.

Key Responsibilities Business Development and Growth
  • Leverage pre-existing relationships and network to identify, source, and shape new business opportunities by aligning IQVIAโ€™s analytic capabilities with client needs and growth objectives.
  • Drive proposal and RFP processes with new clients.
  • Support pipeline planning, client engagement strategies, and account growth planning by collaborating with cross-functional teams across IQVIA.
Deliver Strategic Insights
  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships through strategic thinking, clear communication, and value-driven collaboration.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, providing compelling insights that demonstrate a deep understanding of client brand dynamics, market forces, and competitive landscapes.
  • Remain current on industry and competitive trends and directions to anticipate and identify new business challenges with assigned clients.
Shape Analytic Solutions
  • Translate client business questions into analytic frameworks and connect IQVIA offerings, networks, and capabilities to guide solution design and project direction.
  • Guide client engagements to ensure analytic deliverable quality, alignment to clientโ€™s business questions, client satisfaction, and project management.
  • Provide direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams.
  • Oversee the development and presentation of client deliverables. Lead client discussions, presenting key findings and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in engineering, statistics, math, economics, or other quantitative fields; Masters / MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, data analytics, or similar roles in biopharma required. Understanding of the functions and goals of Commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
  • Track record of selling, managing, and delivering client projects.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, analytical methods, and Commercial practice areas in biopharma.
  • Demonstrated experience managing senior client relationships and leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and structured problemโ€‘solving abilities. Proactive, inquisitive, and impactโ€‘oriented mindset.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed, fastโ€‘paced environment with multiple priorities.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $137,200.00 - $453,700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including jobโ€‘related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or partโ€‘time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
