Job description

Full Stack Java/React Tech Lead

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java/React Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise across Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React, combined with leadership skills to guide onshore/offshore teams, enforce best practices, and collaborate with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead architecture, design, and development of full-stack solutions using Java/Spring Boot on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.
  • Provide hands-on coding (approx. 50–70%) while guiding junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Review technical designs, code, APIs, and ensure high-quality engineering standards.
  • Drive adoption of best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and cloud-native development.

Project & Team Leadership

  • Act as the primary onshore technical point of contact for product owners, business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
  • Coordinate work with offshore development teams, ensuring clear requirements, task breakdowns, and timely delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, story refinement, and estimation.

Architecture & Solutioning

  • Contribute to system architecture, microservices design, integration patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Recommend improvements to application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, coding guidelines, and architectural governance.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Align with DevOps, Cloud, and QA teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.
  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and delivery status proactively.
Required Skills & Experience

Backend

  • 6–10+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices.
  • Experience with JPA/Hibernate, SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle), and NoSQL preferred.
  • Knowledge of API design principles, authentication/authorization (OAuth2/JWT).

Frontend

  • 4–7+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Strong understanding of modern UI frameworks, state management (Redux, Context API), component design, and responsive layouts.
