Job description

If you are looking for an opportunity that is truly on the cutting edge of technology but also have an opportunity of working with a truly collaborative team then this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity for you.  We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong Web/Mobile Application experience to be apart of a growing team in the western suburbs os Chicago.   

THE KIND OF STUFF YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • You will plan, design, develop along with tests web and mobile applications.  
  • You will also collaborate with the back-end technical team to integrate front-end component with back-end systems.
  • As a Full stack developer you will find yourself collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities and solve business problems. You will also identify improvements and upgrades that will reduce cost, improve stability, and increase performance.
  • Responsible for providing high level assessments of development efforts.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and testing applications.
  • Responsible for building and executing against a detailed development schedule.
  • Responsible for engaging with production support staff and remediation of chronic and/or critical production support issues.
  • Responsible for building web and mobile front-end for both consumer facing and internal facing applications.

Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years experience building responsive web applications HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 4, TypeJS/VueJS, jQuery.
  • Experience with mobile development such as Xamarin, React Native and NativeScript, Iconic, PhoneGap/Cordova, NodeJS.
  • Experience with web/mobile integration with analytics tools.
  • Knowledge with web security and SSL certificate.
  • Experience validating mobile apps for hosting on Play Store/App Store.
  • Experience working on an Agile team, using a tracking tool such as Jira and confluence.
  • Familiar with version control (git), and knowledge of modern software development practices and tool belt (e.g. Build and Test, Continuous Integration, Agile).
  • Working knowledge with relational database including MySQL and Oracle.
  • Be a self-starter, be able to identify the gaps and provide technical recommendations and implementations for improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Knowledge with Oracle Cloud.
  • Knowledge of customizing, building and reporting using analytical tools such as google analytics.
  • Understanding of Google Tag Manager.
  • JavaScript testing frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of Web services, experience specifically with RESTful API.
  • Experience with Database, SQL, and Java Persistence API (JPA).
