✨What you'll do:

  • Support multiple Brand Marketing projects, events, and initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Help ensure the Sanrio brand is represented with care, consistency, and charm for fans, partners, and consumers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, talent, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Research trends, best practices, vendors, pricing, and ideas that help create memorable experiences.

🧸Events & Character Costume Coordination

  • Help keep our character appearances running smoothly, safely, and adorably, from schedules and call sheets to costume care and partner communication.
  • Co-Own day-to-day coordination for the Character Costume Division, including operations, logistics, scheduling, talent coordination, housekeeping, and related support.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for Sanrio events and initiatives involving character costume appearances.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with costume character talent, external partners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate outreach, scheduling, and booking for character appearances across internal and external marketing needs.
  • Create and share call sheets, run of show documents, appearance details, and guidelines with staff, partners, and talent.
  • Update and maintain character appearance requests and calendars in Airtable.
  • Support character training standards and help uphold appearance guidelines for staff, talent, and external partners.
  • Care for, clean, transport, and ship costumes in a timely and thoughtful way.
  • Research vendors, gather pricing and quotes, and coordinate costume-related needs.
  • Partner with vendors to design, source, and coordinate costumes while supporting quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Process invoices accurately and on time.
  • Work with the legal team on agreements, NDAs, and documentation for talent and vendors.

💫What YOU bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, events, costumes, or a related area preferred.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Basecamp and Airtable is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence sharing ideas in meetings and with team members.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset and professionalism when working with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and stay nimble when plans change.
  • Strong attention to detail; understanding that the little things matter.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% annually, including frequent travel and weekends as event needs require.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Enthusiasm for the Sanrio brand, Sanrio characters, fan culture, and pop culture is a big plus.
  • English/Japanese bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Ability to comply with company policies and complete other projects and duties as assigned.

💖Why You'll Love it here:
