We are currently looking for a:

Kennywood - Marketing & Sales Events Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities:

    The Marketing & Sales Events Coordinator will assist with all facets of coordinating and executing events and activations sold and developed by the Group Sales & Marketing teams at Kennywood & Sandcastle Water Park. This role requires weekend and holiday availability.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Manage event & activation operations for scheduled in-park events at Kennywood & Sandcastle Water Park.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination with park operations teams to deliver best in class pre day of and post event execution.
    • Manages multiple events simultaneously making rapid adjustments as required to ensure event success in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledgeable of all events going on throughout the parks at all times in order to efficiently represent the marketing and sales division.
    • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems during all events.
    • Function as the on-site contact to clients and guests for all aspects of their events.
    • Ensure all events are executed to the specifications and standards set forth by company, including but not limited to event space set up, food and beverage service, attractions, decor, etc.
    • Enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all company standards.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

    • Ability to take initiative and manage projects on a deadline
    • Enthusiastic personality with the ability to positively engage clients, guests and team members
    • Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Leadership ability with a team oriented approach
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Flexible scheduling is required; hours will include weekends and holidays
