Job description

***This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA***

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You

This is your chance to be part of our in-house Hilton Supply Management (HSM) team that supports our brands, owners, and operators! HSM has transformed how supply chain and procurement adds value to the hospitality industry, with 6 billion dollars of spend influence, over 2000 suppliers, and support of sustainability, supplier diversity, and responsible sourcing goals. As a Manager, Salesforce, you will support the team in partnering with all our brands and helping influence and guide programs with unique and distinctive products and services. On the Digital Solutions team reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Solutions, you will work on projects including architecting, configuring, developing, and maintaining core business applications and integrations (e.g., CRM, supplier portals, workflow automation, data and analytics enablement), including connections to the HSM Data Lake, websites, and other internal/external applications.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Elicit and document business requirements; create functional and technical design documentation aligned to outcomes.
  • Design and maintain integrations and data flows between business applications, HSM Data Lake, websites, and third-party systems using APIs and integration tools.
  • Implement data models, security/permission models, and automation processes.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications, customizations, and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce development tools.
  • Stay current with platform updates and standard methodologies; identify opportunities to adopt new capabilities (including AI features) that improve team productivity and user experience.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Partner with business users to understand requirements, build functional design documentation, and develop technology solutions that align with business goals.
  • Work with external vendors to plan work, manage dependencies, and ensure deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

Projects you'll take ownership of:

  • Lead delivery of digital solution roadmaps and platform enhancements from discovery through deployment and adoption.
  • Establish reliable release management practices (environments, testing, change control) and drive quality via unit, integration, and performance testing.
  • Design and deliver Salesforce Experience Cloud portal, including external user authentication and authorization, row-level data access and sharing architecture, and vendor-managed development.
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience in technology platform delivery, digital product management, systems integration, data architecture, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of hands-on development experience implementing enterprise business platforms, including Salesforce solutions such as Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Onsite in McLean, VA

It would be useful if you have:

  • Project Management knowledge
  • Hospitality Industry experience
  • Salesforce Developer Certification
  • Supply chain or procurement domain knowledge
  • Experience with data warehousing/BI concepts and tools
  • Relevant certifications in other enterprise platforms
