Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team! We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side while using emerging technologies. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Salesforce team, assisting the team in the Administration of Salesforce apps, driving code, testing, deployment, and documentation efforts for various projects related to our client's Salesforce instances.
This role requires US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
This role can be remote, however preferred hybrid locations are Fairfax, VA, Knoxville, TN, Lafayette, LA, Belton, TX. Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Use modern tools, techniques, and methods to provide Salesforce Administration, Salesforce Development, and develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or infrastructure units.
. Help determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by the application. Participate in reviewing the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software and provide Admin support over the Salesforce Applications.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Software Engineering, or related field; or 7 years of related experience.
. 2-4+ years of professional experience with the Salesforce Development (and preferred Administration). 1-3 years Salesforce development experience
. Experience in identifying and gathering requirements and translating requirements into best practices.
. Knowledge in scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
. Experienced in creating technical documentation and following the defined agile development process to design new functionality based upon requirements gathering.
. Demonstrated experience creating Salesforce solution roadmaps and defining priorities and liaising with stakeholders.
. Some experience in data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation.
. Experience with APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Platform (Aura-based Lightning components built using both HTML and JavaScript), Bolt and MuleSoft programming skills.
. Experienced with system integrations using API from within the Salesforce/MuleSoft Anypoint platform.
. 1-3 years Salesforce dev; has admin knowledge but limited deep platform work.
. Comfortable with declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
. Writes basic Apex classes/triggers and Lightning components under review.
. Works on single org, limited integrations; uses patterns others define.
. Knows core objects, security model, and deployment basics (Change Sets/Copado).
. Relies on senior dev/architect for design and performance decisions.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Certifications in Salesforce (including Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Cloud Consultant etc.) preferred

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $52,200.00 - $123,800.00.
