Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Part -Time)
Location: United Skates of Clovis Clovis, CA
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week (flexible; includes evenings and weekends)
Position Summary
United Skates of Clovis is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility clean, safe, and operating smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and can handle a variety of maintenance and upkeep tasks both inside and outside the building.
Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance
  • Perform routine inspections of the building and address minor repairs
  • Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks
  • Replace lighting, perform touch-up painting, and maintain fixtures
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and in good working condition
Skating Rink & Equipment
  • Clean and maintain the skating floor to ensure a safe skating surface
  • Inspect rink barriers, railings, and safety padding
  • Assist with skate rental upkeep, including cleaning and minor repairs
  • Minor repairs to the skating surface
Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces and common areas
  • Maintain party rooms, seating areas, and guest spaces
Mechanical & Systems Support
  • Monitor HVAC systems and change filters as needed
  • Assist with lighting, sound systems, and general equipment upkeep
Arcade & Entertainment Areas
  • Perform basic cleaning and minor troubleshooting of arcade games
  • Report equipment issues for repair
Outdoor Grounds Maintenance
  • Keep parking lot and walkways clean and free of debris
  • Perform basic landscaping (mowing, trimming, weed control)
  • Maintain exterior lighting and building appearance
  • Ensure dumpster and waste areas are clean and organized
Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Ensure exits, fire extinguishers, and safety equipment are accessible
  • Identify and report potential hazards
Additional Duties
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown
