Key Responsibilities of the Manager of Revenue Accounting

• Review and interpret contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition under ASC 606

• Manage month-end close for assigned revenue streams, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis

• Oversee data mapping, transformation, and validation across financial systems

• Ensure accurate integration of revenue data within ERP systems

• Support automation initiatives and process improvements within revenue accounting

• Serve as a key contact during external audits and support audit requests

• Partner cross-functionally with accounting, FP&A, tax, legal, and operational teams


Qualifications for the Manager of Revenue Accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue accounting

• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and contract-based revenue recognition

• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred

• Public accounting experience and prior leadership exposure a plus

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred)

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in a data-driven environment
