Job description

Raven Point Security Solutions, seeks exceptional individuals with armed protection experience (ACT 235 Certified). The candidate should be highly motivated, physically fit, and highly professional. (Military/Retired/Veterans/LEO preferred.) You will join a team of professionals serving our clients in Northeast Pennsylvania. The right candidate must have a quiet, professional attitude and be able to interact with our clients in high-profile environments.


We are looking for candidates to work various shifts during the week and on weekends, and they should also be open to traveling to other locations.


The candidates will initially be offered part-time positions, ranging from 16 to 20 hours per week, and after a probationary period, they may be offered full-time roles.


Major Responsibilities

Perform security operating procedures and site-specific tasks in accordance with organizational policy and practices.

Convey information between client, staff, and organization.

Carry out fundamental security responsibilities such as perimeter and interior foot or mounted patrols, monitor CCTV and other systems, ensure client safety, stand posts, and perform additional service-related tasks.


Essential Job Functions

To provide logistical support regarding the security of the clients.

Capable of working independently at client sites with little supervision.

To enforce operating procedures and site-specific instructions.

Establish and implement fundamental security procedures, including perimeter and access control, identification protocols, securing clients, and maintaining post duties.

Communicate and coordinate movements with the client and security staff.

Observe and notify management of any events that could affect operations.

To provide assistance to any position or post on a designated detail.

Prepare reports that detail incident findings.

Collaborate with other agents and agencies to exchange information and coordinate activities.

Monitor, document, report, and investigate suspicious individuals and circumstances, safety hazards, and unusual activities in the detail area.

Communicate information and ideas in a manner that others will understand.

Carries out responsibilities as needed and directed by the Director of Site Operations.

Stroudsburg and Allentown areas


Training Offering:

Following the candidate's probationary period, we provide in-house training recognized by MPOETC.

We will also offer reimbursement for ACT 67 training upon passing, if your position requires this certification.


Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalency.

Reliable transportation.

Ability to comprehend and utilize the English language, written and verbal.

Consent to a drug screen.

Reliable means of communication (active email and cell phone).

Must possess a valid PA Act 235 license.

Must possess your own firearm and equipment.

Must possess personal carry insurance and liability.

Must possess a License to Carry a Firearm in Pennsylvania (LTCF)

Current CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.

Must pass PA Child Abuse Background Check

Must pass a Criminal Background Check

Must pass Raven Point firearm physical proficiency qualifications with their preferred duty firearm.

Physically fit, ability to lift 50lbs, crouching and kneeling.

Pass a physical qualification test while engaging targets on a course of fire.

Bilingual (preferred)
