Job description

Configuration Management Analyst

Maximus is in search of a seasoned Configuration Management Analyst to join our team and take on responsibilities that are central to maintaining the integrity and control of configuration items.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document configuration management requirements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration data.
  • Maintaining the configuration management database.
  • Oversee the tracking, identification, and control of configuration items throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures to adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive configuration audits and reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Conduct monthly scans of all environments.
  • Maintain version control of operational configurations for hardware and software.
  • Participate in the selection and deployment of configuration management tools and systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to resolve configuration-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in configuration management.
Qualifications
  • Due to federal requirements, only US Citizens can be considered. Candidates with dual citizenship cannot be considered.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • An active Security clearance is required.
  • Must be based around the Colorado Springs, CO area.
  • This individual will be responsible for the daily operation of mission critical systems on a 24x7x365 workday basis. Shift work will be required.
  • At least 12 years of experience as a Configuration Management Analyst or related field.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.

Maximum Salary

$87,000.00
