Description

Purple Cow Recruiting is seeking a Licensed Psychologist who is looking for autonomy, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact working with veterans and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.

This role will provide psychological services across two skilled nursing facilities - one serving disabled retired veterans and one serving a general geriatric population. The Psychologist will focus on psychological evaluations, diagnostic clarification, and individual psychotherapy while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments 
  • Provide diagnostic clarification 
  • Deliver individual psychotherapy services 
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams 
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation 
  • Manage patient caseload independently 
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $145,000 
  • Tiered monthly productivity bonus 
    • Psychologists commonly earn an additional $3,000-$5,000 monthly 

Requirements

  • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD required) 
  • Minimum of 1 year post-licensure experience 
  • Comfortable working autonomously 
  • Experience or interest in geriatric and veteran populations preferred 
  • Strong communication and clinical assessment skillsÂ
