An established General Contractor is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee retail construction projects across multiple locations nationwide. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in retail renovations, rollouts, and ground-up projects who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Client Details Our client is a nationally recognized General Contractor specializing in retail construction projects for leading brands across the country.

With a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on aggressive schedules, they offer employees the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile programs in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Description Manage retail construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout across multiple locations. Coordinate project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.

Travel regularly to project sites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain client relationships. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Monitor project costs and ensure financial performance targets are achieved. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedules and budgets. Collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Manage procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Oversee project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout documentation. Profile Proven experience as a Project Manager within a General Contractor environment.

Strong background managing retail construction projects, including store remodels, tenant improvements, rollouts, and ground-up developments. Ability and willingness to travel extensively across multiple project locations. Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project controls.

Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
