Description
We are currently hiring a Warehouse Manager – Retail Division
 
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all daily operations of the warehouse for 1st and 2nd shifts. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and safe movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, including fulfillment for our retail division, while upholding food safety and quality standards.
The Warehouse Manager will lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet company goals, customer expectations, and the unique operational requirements of our channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Inventory Management
    • Oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping of poultry and meat products for retail customers.
    • Coordinate retail order fulfillment, including packaging, labeling, and presentation standards consistent with retail requirements.
    • Manage product flow between production, retail packaging, and distribution areas to ensure timely delivery to stores or retail customers.
    • Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including retail SKU tracking, rotation (FIFO), and shrink control.
    • Maintain and improve warehouse layout for maximum efficiency, food safety, and support of retail order assembly areas.
    • Partner with procurement, production, logistics, and retail leadership to forecast and plan inventory for retail sales.
    • Ensure compliance with USDA, SQF, HACCP, and other food safety and labeling regulations across retail operations.
    • Conduct accurate inventory counts and audits of frozen products, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and cold-chain compliance in the freezer.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 5+ years of warehouse management or logistics experience in food manufacturing, retail distribution, or food service environment.
  • Experience managing multiple shifts and supervising a diverse team.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, food safety, and inventory systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated environments.
  • Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
 
Preferred:
  • Experience in the poultry, meat, or perishable food industry.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, USDA inspection protocols, and ERP or WMS systems.
  • Experience supporting or managing retail fulfillment operations (store supply, direct-to-consumer, or e-commerce).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
