What You'll Do:

    Digital and Social Media Strategy: Lead digital and social media strategy and execution across multiple platforms, leveraging learnings for real-time optimization and testing innovative approaches to drive growth, traffic, awareness, and engagement.

    • Website: Oversee website optimization to drive increased traffic and improve user experience
    • Measurement & Reporting: Identify and report on SMART KPIs for social and digital channels

    Retail Marketing Strategy: Work collaboratively with our Retail Team to drive retail revenue, profits, awareness, and trial.

    • Brand Standard Consistency: Ensure updated and consistence creative strategy at Kawartha Dairy stores. Lead creative design for new stores including store front design, signage as well as interior creative and branding.
    • Performance and Data Analysis: Monitor market trends and leverage available store level data to analyze and recommend opportunities for optimization of the consumer experience and/or product and merchandise strategies. Leverage qualitative and quantitative research as needed to understand channel dynamics, learning from the competitive environment and leveraging customer insights/behavioural sciences to optimize and enhance the retail customer experience
    • POS Strategy: Lead design, creation and production of KD retail POS
    • Promotion Strategy: Partnering with the Retail Team and in line with the overall KD Marketing calendar, identify and develop promotional programming throughout the year that generates consumer excitement, grows the KD consumer base and drives store traffic and retail revenue
    • Innovation Launches: Work collaboratively within the KD innovation process, developing, producing and executing store-level marketing programs that drive awareness and promotion of KD flavour innovations


    What You Need to Get the Job Done:

    • Post Secondary Education with preference for Commerce or Marketing focus
    • 5+ years of brand marketing experience, preferably in QSR, with proven experience leading successful marketing and innovation strategy and execution
    • Innovative, entrepreneurial marketer, with keen creative eye and proven ability to develop brand aligned marketing campaigns
    • Strong consumer understanding and curiosity
    • Proven cross-functional collaborator and influencer
    • Natural leader with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communicator
    • A resourceful self starter with a positive attitude, who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get it done
