Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of clients, fostering trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethics and confidentiality standards.
  • Conducting regular sessions to monitor client progress, stability, and planning for discharge when clinically appropriate.
  • Formulating, implementing, and continually evaluating person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and intake assessments.
  • Facilitating individual therapy sessions and contributing to group therapy sessions as needed.

  • Embodying a growth mindset, promoting your own learning and that of your peers.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on youth, providing mental health support to children and adolescents facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in mental health or a closely related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
  • The capability to satisfy credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals with substance use issues.
  • A proven track record in assessment, diagnosis, and providing individual and group therapy.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will also possess:

  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Previous experience in a telehealth setting and familiarity with teletherapy technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
