Description
Supervises and coordinate activities of the Island Buffet and Prime Dining restaurants or Ali'l Luau's or Pounders. Responsible for efficiency, sanitation. Safety, service, food quality, guest satisfaction and profitability. Maintains the physical property according to code. Assist Restaurant Manager in complying with operations established policies and procedures. Helps to develop, interpret and implement policies and procedures for performing required functions. Ensures proper training of staff, prepares related reports and audits current procedures for improved efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of the manager, supervises and coordinates activities of assigned restaurant or luau personnel and ensures guest comfort and service standards.
  • Conducts monthly training programs in customer service, safety, sanitation and proper use of equipment.
  • Opens and closes assigned restaurant or luau daily using proper procedures. Prepares and posts monthly employee work schedule.
  • Provides guidance in the resolution of routine situations as well as developing and implementing procedures to resolve guest's complaints.

Requirements
  • Have capable interpersonal, managerial and leadership skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Department of Health and OSHA rules and regulations governing food service operations.
  • Have a good working knowledge of various restaurant or luau operations.
  • Able to speak, read and write fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Restaurant Management and three years of restaurant work experience at a supervisory level.
  • Fluency in a foreign language desirable but not required.

Base rate is commensurate on skills and experience.
