Job description

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Have strong communication skills and be able to interact with a diverse group of customers and dealers in a positive manner,
  • Readily respond to, modify, and integrate change with minimal personal resistance,
  • Prioritize and complete tasks in order to deliver desired outcomes within allotted timeframes,
  • Serve as an advocate of the Coe Press story by ensuring an intimate understanding of who we are, what we represent, and what we can offer.
  • Understand industry and market trends as well as sales analytics related to customer and translate into targeted opportunities.

THE REGIONAL SALES MANAGER WILL:

  • Manage the entire sales process from prospect initiation to securing commitment within the assigned geographic area.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Coe Press dealers in assigned territory.
  • Own customer relationship with critical decision makers by maintaining regular communications with key customers within territory/account.
  • Ensure timely communication of problems and opportunities to management or other key Coe Press functional areas and ensure corrective actions are in place when needed.
  • Take ownership of all strategic quotes and contracts, serve as the key negotiator and utilize sales processes to solicit and to coordinate feedback internally.
  • Work in partnership with key internal stakeholders such as Engineering to understand customer requirements and needs, present winning solutions, and ensure ongoing execution of commercialization strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred,
  • 10 or more years of direct sales experience,
  • Proven experience in selling high dollar, technical, standard and custom product,
  • Selling automation solutions and capital equipment highly desired,
  • Willingness to travel 40+% of the time,
  • Track record of exceeding performance expectations,
  • Experience in the Metal Stamping Industry a plus.
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to the assigned territory upon completion of training in 1-2 years.
