Job description

The Assistant Project Manager will support several initiatives for PCI Support Services and reports to the Program Manager. This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
  • Development of detailed scopes and assist in project design, subcontractor selection, take-offs, layout, cost estimation, budgeting, project scheduling, and other project support
  • Support Senior Project Manager/ Project Manager in the management and coordination of subcontractors, materials, equipment, budgets, schedules, contracts, and safety of employees.
  • Directly Support Senior Project Manager/ Project Manager/ Site Superintendents as assigned to ensure quality control, project delivery on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Obtain, review, action, and track all submittals
  • Create weekly summarized reports of all assigned projects and submits to Project Manager.
  • Assist Project Manager in maintaining and updating project schedules to reflect current information, monitor critical path activities and tracking of outstanding items.
  • Create, organize, update, publish, and file documentation such as emails, communications, agreements, etc.
  • Prepare and track both project RFI’s and project change orders
  • Ensure accurate record keeping supporting Davis Bacon/Prevailing Wage Requirements of Certified Payroll Reports is properly kept and reported by Superintendent and Subcontractors.
  • Additional requirements may be required, and we will work with the right candidate to assume the roles of the position. Background checks and additional training requirements may be required based on our client’s ever evolving demands.
Job Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Construction Project Management Support
  • 2+ Years of Federal Construction Project Management Support
  • Bachelors/associate degree in Related Discipline
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid OSHA 30
  • Valid CPR/FA/AED Certification
  • FAR Regulations Knowledge
  • Strong technical knowledge amp; practical experience
  • Ability to self-manage tasks with competing priorities with little supervision while still meeting deadlines
  • Strong verbal, written, computer, technical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Projects. Provide daily construction, administrative and technical management of construction projects.
