Job description

We are looking for the right people — people who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead. We attract and retain the best talent by investing in our employees and empowering them to develop themselves and their careers. Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.

About Project Management

Halliburton Project Management provides integrated, end-to-end project execution across the well lifecycle — from concept and design through drilling, completion, and production. Leveraging Halliburton’s full suite of technologies, engineering expertise, and global logistics, we deliver turnkey and managed services that ensure wells are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. With a focus on collaboration, accountability, and performance assurance, our teams help customers reduce complexity and achieve consistent project success worldwide.

About the Role

Under broad direction from the Global Asset Management Lead, the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Assurance Manager provides governance, assurance, and subject matter expertise across the Integrated Asset Management (IAM) lifecycle — from pursuit through execution of upstream oil and gas projects.

This role ensures that operations and maintenance processes, standards, and execution practices meet safety, reliability, integrity, compliance, and performance requirements. The position plays a critical role in strengthening operational governance, enabling disciplined execution, and supporting long-term asset value delivery across IAM projects.

Key Responsibilities

•    Develop and maintain O&M standards, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency across IAM projects.
•    Ensure operations and maintenance activities meet safety, reliability, integrity, and regulatory compliance requirements.
•    Lead assurance reviews, audits, and performance assessments, providing guidance on risks, deviations, and continuous improvement opportunities.
•    Provide O&M subject matter expertise to support bids, proposals, and tender evaluations, including input on execution strategies, resourcing, and risk management.
•    Support project execution by leading operations readiness reviews, maintenance assessments, and asset integrity evaluations.
•    Oversee the implementation of reliability, maintenance, and integrity programs to support long-term asset performance.
•    Deliver training and guidance to ensure teams understand and consistently apply O&M standards and best practices.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment, improve operational performance, and support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline required.
•    Minimum 15+ years of experience in oil & gas operations and maintenance.
•    At least 10 years of experience with an E&P operator environment.
•    Strong expertise in production operations, maintenance and reliability engineering, and asset integrity and lifecycle management.
•     Experience supporting integrated asset lifecycle projects, including development and execution phases.
•    Proven experience in assurance, audits, and operational governance frameworks.
•    Experience working in international or multi-regional environments is preferred.
•    Ability to influence and manage processes across stakeholders without direct supervisory responsibility.
•    Proficiency in Spanish or Arabic is preferred.
•    Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% annually.
