**The selected candidate for this role will be placed as a Project Manager, Project Manager, Sr, or Project Manager, Sr Lead based on education, experience, and demonstrated success at the Project Manger level**
Job Summary/Purpose
  • This position is responsible for executing project scrubs for assigned projects from across the Entergy Enterprise.
  • Conducts SME interviews and works with project team to develop initial hypotheses and required analyses.
  • Present PowerPoint during problem solving sessions and create fact basis presentation.
  • Works with Scrub Execution to facilitate scrub workshops.
  • Assists with sizing potential value of workshop-generated opportunities.
  • Accountable for ensuring quality deliverables within established timeframes to maintain scrub schedule.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Review and analyzes project documentation to develop initial hypotheses on potential value levers.
  • Identifies SMEs in conjunction with Scrub Execution and conducts interviews. Leverages project team, SMEs and Scrub Execution to refine hypotheses.
  • Present PowerPoint during problem solving sessions and create fact basis in preparation for workshop discussions.
  • Identifies workshop participants in conjunction with Scrub Execution.
  • Consolidate ideas generated from workshop and works with project team to estimate value, capital headroom and enablers.
  • Coordinates with all functional departments as needed to achieve the requirements of the applicable corporate standards and guidelines.
  • Identifies, communicates, and takes prompt action on project issues that could impact project performance.
  • Assist Scrub Execution with project team follow up to ensure ideas are implemented.
  • Capture lessons learned in conjunction with Scrub Execution for each project scrub and share best practices
  • Promotes safe behavior and adherence to the safety rules on the project.
  • Work is performed in both an office setting and in field conditions.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field OR 4 years of equivalent/related work experience (in addition to Minimum Experience requirement) in lieu of degree.

Minimum experience required of the position.
  • Project Manager: 2+ years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field
  • Project Manager Sr: 4+ years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field
  • Project Manager, Sr Lead: 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position.
  • History of safe performance, active safety involvement and participation and strong desire for a safer workplace.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management applications, processes, software and equipment.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and effective estimating practices.
  • Understanding of Industry Best Practices.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional project leadership experience, team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
