Job Summary:

Responsible for the management of cross-functional project teams to deliver objectives for new wine products and packaging enhancement projects.

Essential Functions:

The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.ย  Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

  • Manage and participate in projects to support the objectives of the Project Management Office.
  • Lead project teams from cross-functional areas such as Compliance, Winemaking, Procurement, Commercial and Operations through the development of new or changing packages and products
  • Generate reports and analyses as needed
  • Participate in the revision of products, components and production methods
  • Participate in the qualification of new packaging suppliers and co-manufacturers as needed
  • Maintain product specifications
  • Assist in the development of new packages
  • Cross-functional communication of risks, trade-offs and options
  • Review art files and proofs for accuracy
  • Provide back-up to other project manager team members.
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Administrative duties as required (Project Management Software, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Develop/improve processes with an ever-increasing outward focus on business needs rather than focusing primarily on departmental processes
  • Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the ISO Food Safety & Quality Policy
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Years of Experience: Four or more years' experience as a Project Manager.ย  Experience with food or beverage, and/or packaging engineering industry a plus.
  • Experience with continuous improvement projects and/or methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources and distill it into concise reports and recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Project
  • Experience with project management software a plus
  • Experience using SAP a plus
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid, on site office requirement Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Extensive computer work
  • Primary location in Napa, CA, but may be required to work at any ofย TFE's locations occasionally
  • Frequent deadline pressures
  • Numerous projects in progress at any given time

Salary Range: $108,666.00ย -ย ย $163,000.00ย ย 

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.ย TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits.ย ย  We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharingย contribution.
