 A day in the life: 

Step into the exhilarating role of Project Manager at Monster Energy, where you'll lead the charge in turbocharging projects across all business operations! With your fierce drive and sharp understanding of business and IT, you'll ensure every project races across the finish line on schedule. You'll be the dynamic force that propels our Project Management Office (PMO) into overdrive, enhancing processes and practices to power up our project delivery game. Get ready to rock the project world with the unstoppable energy that is Monster! 

The impact you'll make:
  • Serve as project liaison between IT and the business on assigned projects and business requests. Provide input to help guide evaluation, prioritization, and sequencing of key initiatives into an overall roadmap and portfolios, along with inter-project dependencies.
  • Work with PMO leadership to define, establish, enforce and refine processes and best practices.
  • Provide hands-on program and project management leadership including project initiation, scheduling, management, control, and closing.
  • Provide change management leadership by anticipating, evaluating, and mitigating the impact of change, while driving business engagement to improve solution adoption.
  • Ensure meeting preparation, manage follow up activities, document issues and escalate to leadership and project stakeholders as required.
  • Lead or participate in project related business discussions to ensure requirements are well understood, appropriately documented, and adequately addressed by the technology solution.
  • Plan for and coordinate internal and external resource requirements (human or otherwise).
  • Measure and report on project performance and progress with project participants and leadership. Identify, assess, and manage project risk and issues.
  • Conduct or participate in third party vendor selection and management as required by individual projects.
  • Manage project budget and spend, along with regular budget vs. actuals reporting. 
Who you are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field
  • Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in project management.
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and PowerPoint strongly preferred. SharePoint, Visio, Teams, Atlassian's Jira, and Confluence a plus.
  • Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus.
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Ability to create presentations and present in front of large audiences. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
