Job description

PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC (dba QUES), a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc. We are a highly mobile and flexible team with the ability to service every area and region within our customers’ area of operation. With over 700 employees and growing, we have thousands of years of combined electrical utility experience to draw from when committing to provide our clients with a wide range of utility services.


Associate Project Managers assist Project Managers and senior staff in various project management tasks. Their responsibilities may include assisting in project planning, monitoring project progress, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, tracking budgets and expenses, preparing reports, and managing documentation. Associate PMs typically focus on specific aspects of the project and collaborate closely with senior team members.


  • Collaborate with Foreman, Superintendent, Engineers, and Subcontractors to determine project needs.
  • Assist in budget development and monitoring expenses.
  • Assist in planning and implementing construction projects.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
  • Assist in obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
  • Track project progress and prepare detailed reports on milestones and goals.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
  • Attend meetings and communicate project status to all participants regularly.
  • Help resolve any issues that arise during construction and escalate to senior management as needed.
  • Associate PMs work under the supervision and guidance of Project Managers. They participate in decision-making processes but usually do not have the final authority on major project decisions.
  • An associate PM relies on mentorship and direction from Project Management as they develop their skills.
  • Participation in client meetings and general communication under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years managing construction projects independently.
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Knowledge of construction processes, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Prior internship or work experience in construction project management is a plus.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM) is desirable.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • May supervise a small number of Project Engineers and Project Coordinators
  • Physical Requirements
    • Work is performed at project sites and in an office and/or trailer
    • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay- $   101,000    - $ 150,000       /Annually *Depending on Experience
