About the role:

Reporting to Manager, Communications, the Communications Coordinator will support the communications activities of EVR, with particular focus on supporting implementation of internal and external communications plans and projects.

In this role you will:
  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Develop and support implementation of external and internal communications plans
  • Write, edit and proof written materials including press releases, communications plans, social media posts, briefing notes, fact sheets, web copy, advertisements, intranet content and other materials
  • Maintain high writing standards and best practices to ensure the creation of quality, consistent content
  • Support development of strategic digital communications campaigns and develop compelling digital content including social media and web content
  • Supportย development ofย strategicย internal communicationsย campaignsย and develop supportingย materials includingย content and visuals
  • Support management and creation of the company's digital assets, including images and video
  • Participate in planning and execution of events
  • Ensure consistency of corporate visual and branding standards in design and written materials
  • Provide administrative support to the department, including supporting invoicing, budget tracking, andย assistingย with general operational tasks
  • Provide support to other major communications-related projects and initiatives at EVR, as required
  • Support the Communications team, as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or another related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate communications
  • Advanced writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise written content
  • Strong project management skills and experience and theย ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously on tight deadlines
  • Proficient in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management
  • Strong understanding of social media communications, marketing and targeting
  • Experience with video production and creative tools is an assetย 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoftย 365 applicationsย (e.g.ย Excel,ย SharePoint) is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
$76,000 - $94,000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
