Our programs and services include employment services, supportive housing and homeless outreach, literacy programs and outreach, immigrant services, adult and family on-demand support. We also provide community leadership and development in overdose response planning, poverty reduction planning, and other projects that develop a more connected and resilient community. The Position The Community Health Services Manager provides leadership across Complex Care Housing and LIFT's community-based health and harm reduction programs. These include the Overdose Prevention and Treatment Hub Site (OPS), Drug Checking, and VCH's only rural injectable Opioid Agonist Treatment (iOAT) clinic.qathet Complex Care Housing is a collaboration between LIFT, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), and Tla'amin Nation, providing housing and health supports for people experiencing significant mental health, substance use, and other complex needs. The program includes Tier 1 Intensive Supportive Housing and Tier 2 Stabilization and Respite services, supporting participants with the level of care they need as their circumstances change.This role leads multidisciplinary teams, supports high-quality participant care, and oversees the day-to-day delivery and development of these programs. Working closely with staff, community partners, and health-care providers, the Manager helps strengthen coordinated, trauma-informed, person-centred and harm reduction-based services for people facing complex barriers in the qathet region.Overview Job status: Regular, Part-Time Job title: Community Health Services Manager Hours of Work: 9am-4pm, 5 days per week Work site: Lift Head Office Date Posted: August 25, 2026 Close Date: September 8, 2026 Reports to Executive Director Salary: Base salary starting at $75,700, with additional compensation based on education, professional qualifications, and relevant experience. Applicants with an applicable professional designation will be compensated in accordance with the corresponding wage grid of the applicable collective agreement. Qualifications A minimum of five years of recent related experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience in non-profit harm reduction or a related social service field. A Bachelor's degree in a social service field is an asset; a Master's degree is preferred. Demonstrated experience working with people impacted by homelessness, substance use, mental health concerns, and other barriers to stable housing. Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset. Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, person-centred care, harm reduction, Complex Care Housing, and de-escalation approaches. Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
