Job description

As a Supervisory Project Manager (Programs) - Project Support Director, you will provide highly expert professional and/or technical consulting and services surrounding major, complex programs managed and/or facilitated by OPPM.

Location of position: GSA - Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX)

We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Qualifications:

If you have volunteered your service through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps), we encourage you to apply and include this experience on your resume.
The GS-15 salary range starts at $150,359 per year.  
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is overseeing teams responsible for the management of projects to deliver strategic national programs or initiatives. This experience must include:

  • Planning, directing and advising others in applying project management policies and procedures to achieve organizational and programmatic goals,  

  • Advising diverse organizational representatives on issues involving the application or tailoring of program management methods and procedures, and

  • Working on complex national programs or cross-agency strategic initiatives with multidisciplinary teams, and in two or more of the following program areas:

  1. Client/Stakeholder Relationships;

  2. Cost and Schedule Management Analysis for Programs;

  3. Program Management and Team Leadership; or

  4. Construction Management
