Our group specializes in managing complex, cross-team collaborations that drive meaningful change from actionable business intelligence. Product Operations serves a central function in helping the organization continue to grow and evolve while keeping the broader enterprise informed, aligned, and executing. 

How You’ll Contribute

Our team is currently looking to add an experienced Program Management Lead. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a creative, collaborative and highly motivated individual to manage a complex set of programs, while leveraging a wide range of processes and tools used in multi-product initiatives. 

Programs typically consist of enterprise-focused initiatives aimed at enhancing internal efficiencies, operational processes, integrated technologies, and interdepartmental collaboration. This role requires working with teams from across the organization to define strategy, requirements and timelines as well as leading cross-functional delivery teams through design, execution and support. This position involves regular communication with senior management on roadmaps, progress, risks and change control. Project management and executive presentation skills are critical. You will provide project leadership, inform strategy, mitigate project risks, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. 

The right candidate for this role is someone who has a strong program management background, can cultivate relationships and earn trust with teams both inside and outside of Envestnet and is comfortable working with large, complex data sets. You must be able to thrive in a start-up minded environment and be willing to not only operate strategically and think creatively but roll up your sleeves and help get the job done tactically 

  • Lead medium- to large-scale programs from initiation through the full delivery lifecycle on new products and initiatives. 
  • Define and illustrate the vision for the program’s offering and communicate the key phases and milestones for deliverables in conjunction with a diverse set of business owners. 
  • Manage deadlines and risks across multiple teams, communicating effectively to stakeholders and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Develop support models and launch/rollout plans to ensure internal preparedness and a smooth transition to a fully institutionalized workflow. 
  • Actively seek, clarify, and understand information from end-users and stakeholders that leads to an understanding and ownership of deliverables. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in a dynamic development environment to provide governance, re-validate theses/assumptions, adapt from lessons learned, drive efficiency improvements to processes, and resolve issues as they arise to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality steady-state product/solution. 
  • Track program goals & milestones, tasks, and dependencies in accordance with delivery timelines. 
  • Oversee sales/marketing/promotional strategies in collaboration with internal teams to create awareness and promote adoption. 
  • Cultivate subject matter expertise on the functional and technical aspects of the projects.  
  • Leverage analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to use data and KPIs to back-up assumptions, assess risks, and evaluate outcomes. 
  • Prepare audience-relevant reporting and communications on project status for stakeholders in varying levels and functions. 
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in related business areas 
  • 8-10 years in Program/Project Management
  • Experience running projects/programs through the system/software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working in financial services and/or fintech industries
  • Experience with system integration and agile development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project and program management techniques
    Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to senior level stakeholders

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with a cross-functional, global team. 
  • Knowledge of industry proven methodologies (Six Sigma, Agile, etc.) and other data-driven approaches for process improvement, delivery, and iterative execution. 
  • PgMP, PMP, or other comparable project/program management certifications. 
  • Receptive of feedback and quick to apply changes. 
  • Team player. 
  • Self-driven and able to be both strategic and execution oriented.
