Job description

Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall knowledge, organization, direction and requirements of the contract effort.  The Program Manager is responsible for the timely report of information to ensure program efforts are met.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates competence in project management and technical competence in discipline field(s)
  • Possesses knowledge of industry policies and practices such as FAR ISO 9001 and AS9110
  • Understands and complies with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies and procedures
  • Provides cost and schedule estimating
  • Ensure program meets systems discipline, engineering specifications and commercial practices relating to weapon systems procurement and production.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required
  • Participates in program meetings as required
  • Must be able to provide clear concise communication
Qualifications

Education:

  • BA/BS in Business, Management, Engineering or Science Required
  • Masters Preferred

Experience:

  • At least two years Program Management Experience Required
  • Four years Program Management Experience Preferred
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project desired
  • Earned Value Management, Proposal Writing experience preferred
  • Aviation program experience desired. 
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret level clearance 

**Must be able to travel, including OCONUS locations. 

This is the minimum experience for a Program Manager.
