Koniag Services Inc., a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Program Manager to support the Program Management Office (PMO) functions of our IT Call Center serving government clients in the Nashville, Tennessee area. The ideal candidate is an organized, driven, and collaborative early-career professional with a foundational understanding of program management principles, a strong desire to grow within a dynamic government services environment, and the ability to support multiple program management workstreams simultaneously. They bring excellent communication skills, a proactive work ethic, and a genuine passion for contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality IT Call Center services to government end users. Ability to obtain a government security clearance may be required to support Koniag Services Inc. and our government customers. This position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Position Description: The Junior Program Manager will support the PMO functions of the IT Call Center program by assisting program leadership with planning, scheduling, reporting, risk management, documentation, and stakeholder communication activities. This individual will work closely with the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and other program leadership team members to ensure all PMO deliverables, action items, and administrative program management functions are completed accurately, consistently, and on time. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Support the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager in the day-to-day execution of PMO functions, including program planning, scheduling, reporting, risk and issue management, and stakeholder communication activities. * Assist in the development and maintenance of program plans, schedules, milestone trackers, and project timelines, ensuring all program activities are accurately documented and progress is consistently tracked and reported. * Support the preparation and coordination of customer-facing program deliverables including monthly status reports, program performance summaries, meeting minutes, and executive briefing materials, ensuring all outputs are accurate, professionally presented, and delivered on time. * Maintain and update program risk registers, issue logs, action item trackers, and decision logs, following up with program team members to ensure all assigned action items are completed within established timelines. * Assist in the coordination and facilitation of program meetings, working sessions, and customer briefings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, note-taking, action item capture, and distribution of meeting summaries. * Support program financial management activities by assisting in the tracking and organization of budget data, expenditure records, and financial reporting inputs under the direction of the Program Manager. * Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of program documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs), program management plans, transition documents, and organizational charts. * Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for program staff, including access request coordination, equipment provisioning support, and orientation scheduling in collaboration with program leadership and corporate support teams. * Support the management and organization of program SharePoint sites, shared drives, and document repositories, ensuring all program files, records, and deliverables are accurately organized and maintained in accordance with program standards. * Assist in the preparation and coordination of program governance activities including program reviews, performance assessments, and audit support, gathering required documentation and data inputs as directed by program leadership. * Support contract management activities by assisting in the tracking of contract deliverable schedules, modification documentation, and subcontractor performance records under the direction of the Program Manager. * Coordinate with cross-functional program team members including operations staff, data analysts, and technical team members to gather program status updates, compile reporting inputs, and support the preparation of integrated program status products. * Participate in PMO training and professional development activities, actively pursuing growth in program management knowledge, skills, and certifications in support of long-term career development goals. * Perform other program management support tasks as assigned by program leadership to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the IT Call Center program's PMO functions. Education and Experience: Required: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * 1+ years of experience in a program management, project coordination, administrative support, or operations support role within an IT services or government contracting environment. * Demonstrated ability to support program planning, scheduling, reporting, and documentation activities in a structured program environment. Preferred : * Prior experience supporting PMO functions within a federal government contracting environment. * Familiarity with IT call center, service desk, or IT managed services program environments. * Demonstrated progress toward obtaining a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification. * Experience working with program management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent platforms. Required Skills and Competencies: * Strong communication skills in English - both written and oral - with the ability to communicate program status updates, meeting summaries, and deliverable inputs clearly and professionally to program leadership, team members, and government stakeholders. * Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments, maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced program environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for report and briefing material preparation, and Microsoft Excel for program tracking, scheduling, and data organization purposes. * Proficiency in collaboration and document management tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for program communication, file management, and team coordination. * Foundational understanding of program and project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, including scheduling, risk management, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and consistency in all program documentation, reporting, and administrative support tasks. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, take direction from senior program leadership, and contribute positively to a collaborative and professional program environment. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with program team members, government stakeholders, and corporate support staff. * Proactive and self-motivated work ethic with a demonstrated ability to anticipate program leadership needs, take initiative on assigned tasks, and follow through on commitments. * Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance as required. Desired Skills and Competencies: * Active government security clearance (Secret or higher). * Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or demonstrated progress toward obtaining the CAPM or PMP certification. * Familiarity with Agile or hybrid program management methodologies and their application within a government IT services program environment. * Experience with program management and project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent platforms. * ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrated familiarity with ITIL service management concepts relevant to IT call center program management. * Familiarity with federal government contracting processes, including contract deliverable management, COR/CO relationships, and FAR compliance concepts. * Experience supporting program financial management activities including budget tracking, expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting inputs. * Familiarity with federal IT governance frameworks such as FITARA or NIST cybersecurity standards as they relate to IT program management in a government contracting context. * Experience supporting SharePoint site administration, document library management, and collaborative workspace organization in a program management context. * Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and their application within a federal government program management environment.
