Job description

Job Description Summary:

The Program Management Director is a key member of the NPSG Leadership Team. As a member of the NPSG team, this role plays an integral part in enabling NPSG's mission of supporting all Regional Producing Bottlers (RPBs) by maximizing System production efficiencies and market opportunities to strengthen the competitiveness of the Coca-Cola System in the United States. The Director has primary responsibility for leading large, system-wide initiatives across the North American bottling network. This role will lead cross-functional project teams made up of bottlers, bottling co-ops, NAOU and global technical resources in the development and commercialization of new packages and equipment. This position will lead multiple large-scale, complex initiatives simultaneously.

These activities require strong program management skills, the ability to collaborate and manage cross-functional project teams, experience with change management best practices, and effective communication of complex business cases to senior leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead large technical productivity and sustainability programs to enable bottling system value in North America. This would include all routines to identify key project team members, assess project scope, determine project timeline and project milestones, all facets of a highly complex program
  • Lead large scale, complex initiatives to deliver strategic imperatives for the bottling system
  • Develop overall program plans for various project workstreams that highlight critical path components, dependencies, and risk assessments
  • Consult with and influence management at various levels across a wide variety of functions to ensure awareness and alignment on critical matters and drive issue resolution
  • Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional team leaders to ensure clarity and alignment on objectives, timing, dependencies, etc.
  • Conduct implementation project routines to monitor progress against an established timeline, determine necessary actions and escalate as needed
  • Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders such as other NPSG Functions (Finance, Supply Planning and Analytics, Infrastructure Planning) and RPB/ NAOU Supply Chain Functions, NAOU Engineering, and Global Technical Resources
  • Prepare content required to steward projects through project stakeholder sessions and steering committee meetings

Qualifications / Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics is preferred
  • 8-10 years related work experience
  • Understanding of economic and cost/benefit analysis related to supply chain activities or capital investment evaluation
