Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Manager, Program Performance Management to support our rapidly growing organization.

This key leadership role requires a candidate with extensive experience in program planning and scheduling, earned value management systems (EVMS), and program performance management. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor analysts, and partner with program teams and stakeholders to ensure successful execution across complex programs.

This position is eligible for full-time remote work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages a team of Program Performance Management Analysts. Assigns work based on skillset and provides coaching and mentorship in the application of earned value tools and processes.

  • Leads program performance management activities across multiple programs ensuring alignment of cost, schedule, technical, and risk objectives with contract requirements and business goals.

  • Oversees development and maintenance of Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Estimates at Completion (EAC), performance metrics, and variance analysis to support effective program execution and informed decision making.

  • Provides leadership for EVMS implementation, compliance, reporting, and audit activities while driving consistency and integration between planning and execution processes.

  • Partners with program managers, IPTs, finance, contracts, and engineering teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions that improve program performance.

  • Establishes and maintains program performance management processes, tools, dashboards, and governance while leading continuous improvement in automation initiatives.

  • Serves as the subject matter expert for program performance management and scheduling practices, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and development to analysts and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and data-driven decision making.

  • Manages priorities and resources across programs and supports proposals and strategic initiatives to ensure successful execution and delivery of business objectives.

Compensation:

  • $132,000 - $171,600

When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 12+ Years of related experience in a technical, business, military, professional, or U.S. government contractor environment.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading program planning, scheduling, and EVMS activities on DoD programs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and can work in a cross functional team environment.

  • Experience Integrating schedule, cost, and manpower data.

  • Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance experience.

  • Experience with Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Assessments, and Corrective Actions

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, SSI, Cobra, and Oracle
