Location Description

Post Consumer Brands is proud to launch an all-new warehouse in Wilmer, TX (15 miles south of Dallas) to efficiently transport pet food, cereal, and all our products to store shelves. This air-conditioned facility will be over 1 million square feet and include all of the latest distribution technology to help deliver on PCB’s core purpose of making lives better by making delicious food accessible for all, including our furry friends!


Responsibilities

(Wed-Sat 4pm-2am)

OVERVIEW:

This position leads warehouse operations that result in safe, quality, and efficient service of internal and external customers, enabling team success through support, coaching, recognition, and accountability.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prioritize employee safety, including in the operation of powered mobile equipment (forklift/slipsheet/clamp truck)
  • Assign and prioritize tasks, in partnership with dispatcher and site leadership, to successfully execute site workload and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide expertise and ensure best practice adherence across site operations, including shipping/receiving, inventory management, product handling and storage, equipment use and care, and Warehouse Management System use
  • Act as facility leader when Supervisor and Manager are not present (e.g., weekend and night shifts) and back up Dispatch, as needed
  • Champion site values, team expectations, and company policies
  • Identify and resolve issues, escalating to leadership, as needed
  • Own and direct team training and development
  • Pursue continuous improvement, in partnership with DC team and internal partners
  • Engage in standard work development, implementation, and updates
  • Complete assigned audits for safety, quality, training, and the facility
  • Lead maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, including understanding and upholding Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Post Consumer Brands (PCB) requirements

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

  1. 2+ years working in a warehouse/logistics environment (strongly preferred)
  2. Experience successfully leading, developing, and coaching a team towards a goal
  1. Experience using a Warehouse Management System and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Ability to build positive relationships, foster teamwork, and coach individuals in pursuit of a winning culture
  2. Ability to effectively communicate with others, verbal and written
  3. Ability to drive a lift truck following successful completion of lift truck certification
  4. Ability to read, write and speak English to understand shipping/receiving documents
  5. Willingness and ability to work weekends and overtime, if needed
  6. Basic math skills
  7. Ability to pass background check and drug screening
