Job description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Planview Administrator to join our team, focusing on the Planview Portfolios product suite. This essential role involves developing, customizing, and managing Planview Portfolios solutions to enhance portfolio management capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, hands-on experience with Planview Portfolios or other Enterprise Demand Management tools, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Planview Portfolios platform to meet business requirements and improve portfolio management processes.
  • Customize Planview Portfolios features, including dashboards, reports, and workflows, to align with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Integrate Planview Portfolios with other enterprise systems and tools, developing and maintaining APIs and integration points.
  • Provide technical support for Planview Portfolios users, addressing and resolving issues related to system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards within Planview Portfolios to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and mentor development of those in less senior positions.
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions.

Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Planview Portfolios architecture, features, and customization capabilities.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field, and/or equivalent formal.
  • Five (5) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
  • 8-10+ years overall experience required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SQL, data integration, and system administration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C, or Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integration tools, business intelligence tools, version control systems, and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks.
