Job description

The "Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance 2" position is a seasonal (May - September), full-time position. Responsible for the daily maintenance and proper set-up of White Pines Golf Club.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Basic maintenance and set-up of White Pines Golf Club's golf courses and landscaped areas, Including; daily mowing of turf, raking of bunkers, trash collection and general clean-up of property.
  • Assist in projects and improvements throughout the property.
  • Assist in irrigation system repairs and maintenance.
  • Participate in maintaining an overall; clean, SAFE and efficient shop/work area(s).
  • Participate in the cleaning of equipment and tools.
  • Observe daily conditions of golf course/property/equipment and effectively communicate with supervisors.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Ability to effectively understand safety signage and instructions.
  • General knowledge of golf and the expectation of course conditioning for guests.
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, barring dangerous conditions.
  • Prior landscaping, or golf course maintenance experience required.

JOB STATUS Full-time, Seasonal DEPARTMENT WPGC Grounds FSLA STATUS Non-Exempt

SALARY $19/Hour

HOURS 40 hours/week, including 1 (4) hour weekend morning required, (1,000 hours maximum)
