Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Materials Management Partner to work on-site with our client, a global aerospace and defense company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
This role coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. The Materials Management Partner I compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.
*We are on a 9/80 schedule (9 hour days Monday - Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8 hour days). This is a full-time on-site position. This role will start out as a temporary position with the option of the candidate applying to become a regular full-time GD-OTS employee after 90 days.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs clerical duties associated with materials management.
  • Receives, stocks, and distributes materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Stores and labels materials in an orderly manner.
  • Drafts reports regarding production progress, inventory levels, and materials costs.
  • Inspects stock items for defects and reports all instances of damage to supervisors.
  • Compares inventory records with physical counts of stock to ensure accuracy, reporting discrepancies when they arise.
  • Shipping/Receiving experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, to include:
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED, Associates degree pre
  • 3 years Preferred comparable experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Organizational skills
  • Clerical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance
