Job description

BUILT ON FLAVOR. FUELED BY PEOPLE.
What's it like to work at Kinder's? Well, there's a lot of snacking and geeking out over what we all cooked over the weekend. Beyond that, there's also plenty of hard work. Because we don't just like flavor, we're obsessed with it.
With over 100 products sold nationwide, we're now a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. We're not your typical CPG company. Privately held and founder-led, we like to think of ourselves as a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships. Our crew is adventurous and fearless. We chart our own course and chase big ideas to make food unforgettable.
As we expand globally and approach $1 billion in revenue, we need more smart-and-scrappy, flavor-obsessed people to come aboard. If you're looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work... this is it! Every day, you'll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.
About the Role:
We're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented People Strategy Partner to help architect and drive enterprise people initiatives across Kinder's. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving operational and organizational challenges, and can connect strategy to execution in a fast-moving environment.
This PSP will operate horizontally through People & Culture and across Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Leadership teams to identify opportunities, design scalable solutions, improve processes, and ensure high-impact initiatives move from concept to measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of program management, organizational optimization, operational rigor, systems thinking, and strong business partnership - while building trust and deep understanding with your teams - with the ability to simplify complexity and create scalable ways of working as Kinder's continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Partnership & Organizational Optimization
  • Partner closely with leaders across the business to identify organizational challenges, operational gaps, and opportunities for scale.
  • Help frame business problems into clear initiatives with defined goals, requirements, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Support the design and implementation of enterprise People programs, processes, and operating rhythms that improve effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Translate evolving business priorities into scalable people strategies and operational solutions.
  • Partner with leaders to improve organizational clarity, communication, accountability, and execution.

Program Design & Execution
  • Lead cross-functional projects and enterprise initiatives from concept through execution and adoption.
  • Build structured project plans, stakeholder alignment processes, and success metrics.
  • Identify interdependencies across initiatives and ensure alignment across business functions, supporting consistency across teams.
  • Drive follow-through and accountability across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

Process Improvement & Scalable Operations
  • Evaluate current People processes and systems to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner across functions to improve workflows related to onboarding, talent planning, organizational changes, communications, employee experience, and business operations.
  • Help build scalable infrastructure and processes that support rapid organizational growth.
  • Support automation, and technology-enabled solutions where appropriate to improve speed, effectiveness, and employee experience

Leadership Partnership & Communication
  • Provide cross-functional updates, recommendations, and business cases for assigned business groups
  • In partnership with the broader P&C team.
  • Translate complex initiatives into clear narratives, priorities, and actionable next steps.
  • Facilitate alignment across senior stakeholders and help remove barriers to execution.
  • Support strategic planning conversations, organizational initiatives, and enterprise priorities.
Skills + Experience:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in People Strategy, HR Operations, Program Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Business Operations, Consulting, or related functions.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong operational and organizational problem-solving capabilities with the ability to move from ambiguity to structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable processes, programs, and operating models.
  • Experience driving enterprise initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Exceptional project management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Comfort working across multiple functions, priorities, and levels of leadership.
  • Experience leveraging technology, automation, AI tools, or workflow optimization to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to guide decisions.
  • This person is a player and a coach. We are building, designing and bringing work to life - a great space for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and make an impact.

The position will be based out of our office in Walnut Creek, with the requirement of being in the office Monday - Friday.
What Success Will Look Like:
  • Experience within a high-growth CPG, food & beverage, manufacturing, or consumer brand environment.
  • Background in organizational transformation, operating model design, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, workflow automation tools, Rippling, Wrike, Greenhouse, MS Teams, general LMS or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting leadership teams or enterprise-level strategic initiatives.
Pay Transparency:
The expected starting salary range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000 per year + Annual Bonus + Equity. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Benefits include Medical / Rx, Dental, Vision, 401K + Match, Commuter Benefit, EAP, etc.
SEASONED FOR SUCCESS:
  • No two days here are the same.
  • We try to be good team members and good communicators, but we don't live by hierarchy and structure - everyone is a difference maker here.
  • We make a lot of decisions in the face of incomplete information - our team embraces ambiguity and tries to make good decisions fast rather than great decisions slow.
  • We believe our job is to take smart risk, not to eliminate risk.
  • We believe in growing our skills and becoming a better company with more managerial expertise, but we are an entrepreneurial company at heart.
  • We aren't trying to be average - we want to do exceptional things, and we are willing to work hard to achieve them.
BENEFITS THAT BRING MORE TO THE TABLE:
We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, 401k, bonus / incentive eligibility, equity grants, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits, including parental leave. Kinder's benefits vary based on eligibility and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process.
OUR RECIPE FOR BALANCE:
We believe great culture starts with people. We're a people-first company built on connection, collaboration, and balance. Most of our work happens in the office to spark creativity and community, but we also offer flexibility so team members have the autonomy to work outside the office when needed to support their work-life balance and personal commitments.
WHERE EVERY INGREDIENT MATTERS:
Kinder's is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, citizenship, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, results of genetic testing, veteran status, as well as any other legally-protected characteristic. If you have a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act or similar law, and you need any accommodation during the application process or to perform these job requirements, please reach out to us at careers@kinders.com
