Client Connect Loan Officer (Madison, WI)
Are you an ambitious mortgage professional looking to take your career to the next level with an industry leader? Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation is seeking a high-energy, driven Client Connect Loan Officer to join our team on-site at our Madison, WI location.
In this role, you will market and originate mortgage loan products to meet individual and branch productivity goals. You'll be the face of Fairway-building lasting relationships, navigating the loan process with precision, and helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate mortgage loans, including taking applications, negotiating terms, and verifying consumer information.
  • Analyze financial data to pair consumers with the best mortgage products for their unique goals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed loan production goals set by the Branch Manager.
  • Partner closely with internal branch and corporate teams (processors, underwriters, etc.) to ensure seamless loan file progression.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Fairway's products, policies, guidelines, and federal/state lending regulations (including the SAFE Act).
  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to drive loan productivity and quality.
  • Build and maintain a robust referral network of real estate agents, builders, and community professionals through active networking and industry events.
  • Provide timely, exceptional service when responding to consumer and partner inquiries.

What You Bring (Requirements):
  • Active NMLS license is strictly required upon hire.
  • 1+ years of mortgage loan origination experience.
  • Proven ability to thrive and make solid business decisions in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building trust with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, regulations, and existing/emerging investor loan products and guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
