As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will gain hands-on experience driving workforce development and operational excellence for a critical regional hub. This role is about driving people strategy to keep us moving forward. 

What You'll Do
  • Act as a key advisor to Operations, sourcing and selecting the next generation of talent to meet our mission-critical hiring needs.
  • Lead our outreach by building and sustaining vital relationships with military networks, trade schools, and technical partners.
  • Serve as a bridge between management, and our workforce, navigating complex employee relations and conducting thorough workplace investigations with integrity.
  • Take command of the hiring lifecycle, from initial selection to leading new employee orientations that set the tone for our culture.
  • Influence the growth of our people by facilitating training on essential management and HR topics.
  • Use your analytical skills to evaluate turnover and hiring trends, directly impacting our long-term workforce planning and organizational readiness.
  • Support the evolution of the business by assisting with change initiatives and organizational transitions.

Training Plan to Success

  • Corporate Office (1 week): Deep-dive with our Centers of Excellence to understand how HR strategy integrates with our enterprise functions.
  • Integration to Canyon: Your HR Manager will sit on-site with you in Utah, introducing you to key stakeholders and working side-by-side to ensure you are established and set up for success. 
What You'll Have
  • High School Diploma with 5+ years of HR experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (or a related field) with 3+ years of HR experience.
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, compliance, HR administration.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
